Sensory bodypainting is a method that integrates sensory emotional sound awareness into body arts.
Its main effect, for the artist, is a relaxed but attentive and sensitive state of creative awareness and the development of the ability to communicate with the model by applying body awareness and emotions. The purpose of sensory bodypainting is to facilitate self awareness, personal development, self-transformation and consciousness shift. It can also be applied and integrated into a variety of practices for healing, education, love-relationships, arts-performances, emotional awareness.
In the Sensory bodypainting book are described 9 main experiences (9 rooms) the model and the artist can creatively pass through, in terms of self awareness and healing.
Sensory Bodypainting for Beginners
- We will study the main practices for the rooms 0 to 4.
- You will learn basic meditation, breathing and sensory-emotional sound awareness practices and how to integrate them into the art work.
- After this course you will be able to practice the method by yourself, and creatively explore with it.

- Lights: The basics of UV-light available UV light sources. Different light for public performance and studio work. Obstacles and possible problems.
- Painting: The transformation of two models into a UV piece of art through a group effort.
- 3-D effects under UV lights

- Finish & wrap up: Handling of the created data, basic and mandatory rules for the use of UV pictures in web and print.
