Aura Dione ist nackt. Vor ihrem Venushügel hält sie in der linken Hand einen giftig roten Apfel, welchen sie sanft mit dem Messer in der Rechten anschneidet. Verboten gefühlstark und resolut. So zeigt sich die exotische Künstlerin in ihrem 2. Werk „Before the Dinosaurs".

Durch „I Will Love You Monday" wurde Aura Dione zum gefeierten Popstar über Nacht. Kaum einer konnte dem ultimativen Radiohit, gerne für die Playlists zwischen 5 und 7 Uhr morgens gebraucht, entkommen. Mit ihrer voluminösen Stimme, die teils an den Groove von Nicole Scherzinger erinnert, jedoch eine geballte Portion reifer klingt, schafft es die Perfektionistin sowohl mit gefühlsvolle Balladen, wie auch poppige gute Laune Songs zu glänzen. Die 21-Jährige liess ihr 2. Album unter anderem von Star-Produzent David Jost, welcher bereits mit Lady Gaga und Keri Hilson zusammen gearbeitet hat und dem preisgekrönten Produzenten Rick Nowels co-produzieren. LAS BALKANIERAS

LAS BALKANIERAS sind drei wunderschöne Damen, die Hits schreiben, singen, tanzen, kochen, waschen und saubermachen können... Sie stammen aus der Mittelmeerregion des Balkans bzw. aus Rußland, wohnen aber momentan in Düsseldorf/NRW... Sie nennen ihre Musik „Balkan- Electro-Trash-Pop" with a touch of Dancehall" und ihr Motto lautet: „We luv tu entertaijn yu!"!

Conchita Wurst wurde im kolumbianischen Hochland zwischen dem Geklopfe von Puderquasten und dem Tüllgeraschel der Theaterszene geboren. Ihre Mutter war eine berühmte Theaterschauspielerin, die nebenbei als Zigarrendreherin jobbte und wie durch eine Fügung des Schicksals den noch berühmteren Theaterintendanten Alfred Knack von Wurst kennen - und lieben lernte. Kurze Zeit später gebar sie auch schon ihre erste Tochter Conchita, benannt nach ihrer Urgroßmutter Conchita Barbada (die Bärtige).

Eine Fritanga (scharfe Wurst) eroberte die Bühnen der Welt. Zu Ihren größten Erfolgen zählen unter anderem der Titel zur „Schweinebauchprinzessin 1999" und zahlreiche Auftritte im österreichischen Rundfunk. Nach ihrem durchschlagenden Erfolg im „Meidlinger Biergartentheater" übernahm sie ein Engagement an der „Salon Kitty Revue".

Nach ihren Triumphen in der Burlesqueszene wollte Conchita mehr und eroberte die Herzen Österreichs im Sturm. Mit ihrem Gesang und ihrem Auftreten wurde sie der Liebling der Nation. Genau diese Eigenschaften katapultierten das Ausnahmetalent in die österreichische Vorentscheidung für den Songcontest.

Mit Stimme, Charme und Humor will diese Frau nun auch ganz Europa verzaubern.

Music project with Lennie Payne's toast art

The Lost Boyz are a collective of DJ's and vocalists from the UK who have played in some of the biggest and best clubs in Europe. All the members are great friends and all were part of legendary radio station Force FM. This year there will be 6dj's and 2 vocalists all performing together to create a sound and visual display like no other, each member contributes something different to the team and adds his own unique flare and style.
In Matt Emulsion's own words: "Most people when they go to a club or festival see one or two dj's performing on a set but never a whole collective, The Lost Boyz give you something that you have never seen before. This year at the World Bodypainting Festival we are upping our game yet again, every year the festival gets bigger and better and it's our job to keep the crowd happy so expect to SEE and HEAR a few surprises". The Lost Boyz will be dj-ing at the Body Circus and on the festival grounds as well as teaming up with the amazing artist Lennie Payne to create a show on the main stage called Lost Boyz on toast in which you will see live art being created with a House music soundtrack like never before.

The idea and art about the "Toast"

Lennie Payne, born in London, in 1964, adopted at the age of six months into a devoutly religious and spiritual family, he was diagnosed with epilepsy during his teens. Constant attention seeking disrupted a fledgling college education and when his fits worsened, he sought solace in drugs and alcohol. Prison and severe depression followed. But despite these difficulties, and with his spirituality intact, his everpresent desire to create things provided a redress to a once negative lifestyle. "Yet through all this, I have kept hold of my faith and willed myself to keep a grip on reality and my best friend is a Toaster.

"Toast, a metaphor for the basic human need to eat and survive, also exists as a canvas on which to explore the spirituality that influences and affects our everyday lives".

Lennie is performing on the main stage with the Lost Boyz and his accomplished musician friend John Sayer. John has the amazing ability to jam with any kind of music, he can play a number of different instrument's and is a born entertainer. Together they will produce the art project "Lost Boyz on Toast" a true visual and live sound collaboration.

Ich glaube man kann Michael Hartenberger sehr gut mit seinem ersten CD Cover beschreiben. Auf diesem sieht man ihm mit der Gitarre in einer Klagenfurter Wiese sitzen, wie er auf den kalifornischen Pazifik hinausblickt. Er wollte schon immer beide Welten miteinander verbinden. Er liebt den Sommer, das Leben, das Reisen und das Zuhause-Ankommen. Die Songs des 29-Jährigen sind geprägt vom kalifornischen Lebensgefühl, das den Künstler inspiriert.

Eigentlich war Michael zuerst Schlagzeuger, aber er wechselte bald zur Akustikgitarre, weil er damit leichter Lieder schreiben konnte. Das Liederschreiben war ihm immer schon wichtig, um seine Gefühle und Erfahrungen ausdrücken zu können. Michael will mit seiner Musik von seinem Leben erzählen und positive Stimmung verbreiten.

Michael und seine Band arbeiteten drei Jahre an der ersten EP, welche im Sommer 2011 veröffentlicht wurde. Jeder einzelne Song ist das Produkt von wochenlangen Home-Recording-Sessions. Sobald ein Song fertig war, flogen die Jungs nach Kalifornien, um sie vom Jack Johnson Produzenten mixen zu lassen.

Im Februar 2012 waren sie wieder in Kalifornien, um an der zweiten EP zu arbeiten. Dieses Mal wurde die CD vollständig vom Jack Johnson Produzenten aufgenommen und produziert. Man kann sehr gespannt auf das Produkt sein.

Brett Hunt ist mit seinem neuen Album "Rachel" zurück am World Bodypainting Festival !

Der australische Singer/Songwriter Brett Hunt zählt zu den besten Mundharmonikaspielern und Gitarristen seines Landes. Singer/Songwriter-Elemente gepaart mit Blues-, Folk-, Roots und Country-Einflüssen sind charakteristisch für den Sound von Brett Hunt. Exzellentes Fingerpicking und percussive Elemente auf der Gitarre, seine kratzig-raue, tiefe Stimme, dazu Mundharmonika und eine Stomp-Box – fertig ist die Ein-Mann-Kapelle, die so druckvoll wie eine ganze Band klingt.

Seine Songs handeln vom Leben auf Tour, vom Fernweh oder der Weite Australiens und reflektieren seine Erlebnisse. Zu jedem Song hat er eine tolle Geschichte parat, an denen er sein Publikum bei den Konzerten auch gerne teilhaben lässt.

Lords of House - [Austria]

Udo Moritz was an inspiring influence for founding the"WBF sound.institute". His feel for music, his vision and his dedication were already a large part of the festival and will have a growing influence in areas of the event. Udo began as a DJ in 1989 playing in small pubs in Spittal, South of Austria. The first real mixing techniques were learned very young. Over the years he has played almost all musical dirrections that have been important in the club scene but always with a central core of house music in all its facets inspiring him further. He has played for audiences of thousands in Austria as well as in the World Cup stadium in South Korea. For many years Udo has tried to pass on his musical knowledge and experience to interested followers in the dj field. In teaching he has found a new inspiration to hold him to the house music comunity. Working together with the "WBF sound.institute", international activities and workshops to the theme of DJing and music will be held.

Ruuk - [Mybeat, Austria]

Bereits seit einigen Jahren wirbelt der gebürtige Wiener die verschiedensten Clubveranstaltungen & Festivals auf. Seine stets abwechslungsreichen Dj Sets integrieren vorallem Housemusic aus dem Tech- Deep- & Discoiden Bereich und sorgen für "good Vibes" auf jeder Tanzfläche. Zu seinen Auftraggebern konnte Ruuk die angesehensten Clubs des Landes wie zB Pratersauna, Volksgarten, Flex und dem Sass Music Club für sich gewinnen. Auf der international bekannten Life Ball Party, dem World Bodypainting Festival und dem Nuke Festival, aber auch außerhalb Österreichs - in Spanien, Deutschland und Tschechien (Stichwort: Creamfields Festival) - sorgte er für unvergessliche Partynächte. 2008 stieg Markus beim Event & Musiklabel "MyBeat" ein, bei dem er bis heute zuzsammen mit seinen 2 Partnern Henry & Smoove erfolgreich regelmäßige Clubevents in Wien veranstaltet. Dabei hat sich der Sass Music Club zu einer Art Homebase entwickelt. Seit 2011 findet dort auch seine eigene monatliche Veranstaltung Namens "Wundertüte" statt. Beim österreichischen Radiosender FM4 findet man Ruuk gemeinsam mit der "MyBeat" - Crew in regelmäßigen Abständen bei Live - Hosts in der "Digital Konfusion Mixshow".
