The World Bodypainting Festival starts on the upcoming Monday, 12 July with the first part of the festival, the WBF Academy program. 
Many programs of the WBF Academy as well as some side events like the BodyCircus are very well booked. The last 40 early bird tickets for the BodyCircus on the 14 July are only available till Monday. Additional 100 tickets are available on the door.

Festival Newspaper

This year we have the great opportunity to produce a 16 pages newspaper print, that will this week be enclosed in Austria's 2nd largest daily newspaper, the Kleine Zeitung. The big variety of the festival is presented to 312.000 households in Austria with over 800.000 readers. The print is in German language.

Side Event Electronic Mountain

If you are in  the mood for an adventure during the festival week then join us on the 13 July with our WBF Institute of Sound DJ's for an Electronic Picnic on the Goldeck mountain. Enjoy the outdoor scenery combined with music, BBQ and drinks.

The "other" hiking tour on 13th July 2010

  • Bus transfers from 11.00 am in front of the culturhouse "Kulturhaus" in Seeboden
  • Kable car ride up on the mountain
  • Easy hiking tour with Lamas (app. 30 - 40 minutes)
  • DJ Set on the mountain on the level of about 1.900 meter with a fantastic view on the area.

    Free shuttle transfer, cable car, lama trecking and barbeque

Bodypainting contest categories almost full

The World Awards 2010 are starting soon. The world championships are presented in different categories at the World Bodypainting Festival from 12 - 18 July. The closing date for artists is July 2nd, but some categories are already full.

Registrations in a few categories are still available till July 2nd

The registration process for artists for the World Bodypainting Festival is slowly coming to the end. We are very proud to be able to welcome again artists from all around the world. Bodypainters from 40 nations have been registerd.

We also have a new record number of representing nations in the World Bodypainting PHOTO Awards. Photographers from 31 nations will travel to Carinthia, in the south of Austria to join the mecca of bodypainting.
